Guidian Shturman Waiss is a talented and accomplished producer, composer, music and audio director, arranger, and musician. He has a passion for creating and performing music that connects with audiences around the world. Guidian has a dual degree from the Berklee College of Music in Game and Interactive Media Scoring and Contemporary Writing and Production, as well as minors in Screen Scoring and Contemporary Conducting. At Berklee, Guidian was co-president and music director of the Latin American Student Association, director and conductor of the Audire Soundtrack Choir and Orchestra, and worked as the immersive technology lab leader at the Creative Technology Center. His roles as a producer, artistic director, and arranger were showcased in major college concerts such as Idolos Latinos, Andres Cepeda Meets Berklee, Girl on Fire – The Music of Alicia Keys, and many more.
Guidian has gained extensive experience in a variety of roles in the music industry. In his work for the Droid Mafia music record label and production house, he composes and evaluates music for major networks in the label such as Discovery and CBS. As a freelance musician and audio director, Guidian’s scores and sound design can be heard in short films and video games such as Not My Name, Reapers Isle, Defenders of the Source, etc. He has worked on the Ecos Humanitarios podcast, a jingle for BBVA Psychological Care, internal training audio for the Mexican Secretary of Health, and the sound for “Desaparecidos,” an immersive exposition in the Museo de Memoria y Tolerancia.
Outside Guidian’s music career, he has dedicated a lot of time to humanitarian practices. He has a Master’s Degree in Leadership for the International Humanitarian Aid from Universidad Hebraica de México. Guidian served as the General Commander of the CADENA Go Team Search and Rescue (SAR) Team, where he led and coordinated a team of 36 rescuers and 6 unit commanders, overseeing operations during training and SAR missions. He was the Team Leader at the CADENA Association for humanitarian aid, where he was involved in several successful missions around the world, utilizing strong leadership and communication skills. He has received search and rescue training from multiple organizations such as the Red Cross, TEEX, Rescue One, among many others.
